N.Y. Transportation Law § 221: Purpose

§ 221. Purpose. This article shall continue the implementation of

section fourteen of article seven of the constitution and shall

supersede chapter six hundred seventy-seven and chapter six hundred

seventy-eight of the laws of nineteen hundred twenty-eight, and all acts

supplementary thereto and amendatory thereof, known as the "grade

crossing elimination act," and chapter two hundred eighty-nine of the

laws of nineteen hundred thirty-nine, and all acts supplementary thereto

and amendatory thereof, known as the "grade crossing elimination act of

nineteen hundred thirty-nine."
