N.Y. Workers' Compensation Law § 141-c: Coordination of forms

§ 141-c. Coordination of forms. The board, the commissioner of labor,

the commissioner of taxation and finance, the commissioner of motor

vehicles, and the superintendent of financial services shall consult on

an ongoing basis to coordinate the amendment of forms used to gather

data helpful in identifying fraud, so as to promote effective use and

sharing of such information for identifying fraud in the area of

workers' compensation. Through such consultations and other means, these

agencies shall study the implementation of appropriate practicable

technology to verify the authenticity of forms, including certificates

of coverage.
