Ohio Rev. Code § 4141.287: Data matching - incarcerated individuals.

The director of job and family services shall enter into a data matching agreement with the department of rehabilitation and correction. The agreement shall require the director of rehabilitation and correction to provide the director of job and family services with a searchable list, updated weekly, identifying all persons committed to the several institutions governed by the department of rehabilitation and correction.

In addition to other information available, the director of job and family services shall check the list provided under this section when determining whether an application for determination of benefit rights or a claim for benefits is valid.
