Ohio Rev. Code § 5534.649: Sgt. Todd M. Bates Memorial Highway.

In addition to any other name prescribed in the Revised Code or otherwise, the northbound and southbound lanes of state route number one hundred forty-nine, between the intersections of state route number seven and Tabot road, in Belmont county, shall be known as the "Sgt. Todd M. Bates Memorial Highway."

The director of transportation may erect suitable markers along the highway indicating its name.
