SDCL § 34-3A-6: Appropriations from general funds for contract purposes.

In lieu of, or in addition to, the expenditures authorized from the special revenue fund pursuant to § 34-3A-5, such board of county commissioners or the governing bodies of municipalities may appropriate out of the general fund of their respective counties or municipalities for the purposes of § 34-3A-5.
