Tex. Government Code § 2054.522: BOARD APPROVAL AND OVERSIGHT OF MAJOR OUTSOURCED CONTRACTS.

Where this section sits in the code

(a) The department must receive approval from the board before:

(1) entering into a major outsourced contract; or

(2) amending any major outsourced contract, if the amendment has significant statewide impact.

(b) The board shall establish one or more subcommittees to monitor the department's major outsourced contracts.
