Tex. Government Code § 472.113: MEMBERSHIP IN EMPLOYEES RETIREMENT SYSTEM.

Employees of the agencies are members of the Employees Retirement System of Texas under Chapter 812, and the agencies' independent status shall have no effect on their membership.
