- SUBCHAPTER E. EXAMINATIONS
Before beginning an examination, market conduct surveillance personnel shall prepare a work plan that includes:
(1) the name and address of the insurer to be examined;
(2) the name and contact information of the examiner-in-charge;
(3) a statement of the reasons for the examination;
(4) a description of the scope of the examination;
(5) the date the examination is scheduled to begin;
(6) notice to any non-insurance department personnel who will assist in the examination;
(7) a time estimate for the examination; and
(8) if the cost of the examination is billed to the affected insurer:
(A) a budget for the examination; and
(B) an identification of factors that will be included in the billing.
