SUBCHAPTER C. PENALTIES AND ENFORCEMENT PROVISIONS

(a) The department may impose an administrative penalty on a person who violates this chapter or a rule adopted under this chapter. The amount of the penalty may not exceed $5,000 for each day of the violation.

(b) The executive commissioner shall adopt rules relating to the imposition and collection of an administrative penalty.
