Tex. Occupations Code § 1958.104: RULES REGARDING LICENSE APPLICATION.

The commission shall adopt rules regarding a license application. The commission shall adopt rules that establish minimum requirements for a license, including:

(1) the type of license;

(2) the qualifications for the license, including any previous training required under Section 1958.106;

(3) renewal requirements for the license; and

(4) liability insurance requirements for the license.
