  5. SUBCHAPTER B. DISTRICT ADMINISTRATION

(a) The board may employ doctors, technicians, nurses, and other employees considered advisable for the efficient operation of the hospital or hospital system.

(b) A contract or term of employment under Subsection (a) may not exceed two years.
