Tex. Special District Local Laws Code § 1069.257: OTHER OBLIGATIONS.

Notwithstanding Sections 1069.251 through 1069.256, the board may issue and sell bonds, notes, or other obligations that are payable from the district's sales and use tax revenues to:

(1) acquire land for the hospital system; or

(2) purchase, construct, acquire, repair, or renovate buildings, improvements, or equipment related to the hospital system.
