- SUBCHAPTER D. GENERAL POWERS AND DUTIES
(a) The authority may acquire by assignment any right of the city under a contract between the city and Corpus Christi in reference to such water supply.
(b) If the assignment is accepted, the authority shall assume the city's obligations under the contract.
