- SUBCHAPTER A. GENERAL PROVISIONS
(a) A person commits an offense if the person violates a provision of this chapter for which a penalty is not otherwise provided.
(b) An offense under this section is a misdemeanor punishable by:
(1) a fine not to exceed $500;
(2) confinement in county jail for a term not to exceed 90 days; or
(3) both the fine and the confinement.
