CHAPTER 730. MOTOR VEHICLE RECORDS DISCLOSURE ACT

(a) A person may not sell to a person who is not an authorized recipient personal information obtained by an agency in connection with a motor vehicle record.

(b) A person commits an offense if the person violates Subsection (a). An offense under this subsection is a misdemeanor punishable by a fine not to exceed $100,000.
