Utah Code § 53H-3-609: Degree-granting institutions that provide technical education -- Duties -- Board evaluation.

(1) A degree-granting institution described in Section 53H-3-608:

(a) shall:

(i) fulfill the technical college duties described in Subsections 53H-3-1203(1) and (2); and

(ii) report annually to the board on:

(A) the status of technical education in the degree-granting institution's service area; and

(B) student tuition and fees for the technical education programs provided by the degree-granting institution; and

(b) may not exercise any jurisdiction over career and technical education provided by a school district or charter school independently of the school district or charter school.

(2) The board shall monitor and evaluate the impact of degree programs on technical education provided by a degree-granting institution described in Section 53H-3-608.
