3VAC5-70-170: Credit and debit cards

Government stores may accept credit or debit cards from consumers and licensees for the purchase of alcoholic beverages subject to the policies of the Virginia Alcoholic Beverage Control Authority (authority). The authority may establish policies to set purchase requirements, determine the credit or debit cards that will be accepted, provide for the collection of related fees, penalties, or service charges where appropriate, establish credit procedures for returned merchandise, and make any other decisions to carry out the purpose of this chapter.
