A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to reductions of base rent for purposes of calculating the commercial rent or occupancy tax for certain taxpayers
Be it enacted by the Council as follows:

Section 3. If any reduction in base rent provided by this local law is held to be invalid or unconstitutional, or would render any portion of title L of chapter forty-six of the administrative code of the city of New York, as amended by this local law, invalid or unconstitutional for any reason whatsoever, there shall be no such reduction, and such title L shall continue in effect without such reduction held to be invalid or unconstitutional.
Section 4. This local law shall take effect immediately and shall be deemed to be in full force and effect on and after the first day of June, nineteen hundred eighty-five and shall apply to tax periods beginning on and after such date.
